ROCC 2023-2024 Launch Schedule:

All launches are at the Midland, NC site unless otherwise stated.*

Here are some other launch opportunities in our area:

ICBM & ROSCO, better known as South Carolina Rocketry, flies near Dalzelle, SC., Just NE of Shaw AFB.  More information can be gotten at their site HERE

The Saturn Rocketry Club in Hendersonville is currently switching their launch field. As soon as we know where they land we will post it. Their FB site is HERE

NC Rocketry flies at Bayboro, NC in the northeast part of the state, information is HERE

Set-up starts at about 9:30, launches commence about 10:30. Field closes about 60 min. before local dusk so we can clean up. Watch the site front page for specifics. Also visit us on FaceBook. You can also check for the FAA NOTAM at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/ and using KCLT (Charlotte) as the location. This will give you the starting and ending times for HP flights.

* If field is available due to crops, etc.

Discussion > Memberships

The ROCC Membership drive is in full swing, and I've loaded all the current members in to the website that Roy has a record of. If you're a newly joined member (in the last couple of months) and haven't received an email with your password, please send me a note at: rocketrycarolina at gmail dot com. (replace the text with the appropriate symbols or dots, I hate robot email address scrapers). We may have just gotten your email address wrong... some of the penmanship was less than ideal.

If you've renewed for 2011, and you stop being able to post, please send me a note as well. Over the next month or so I will be double checking memberships with Roy and Louise and then in March I will reset the posting rights for those who have not renewed yet. You'll still be able to read the site, but you won't be able to post.

If you're a regular member and haven't renewed (and there are a lot of these) then why wait? Beat the rush and keep enjoying the witty banter that is the ROCC discussion board!

Thanks,
DR
