Set-up starts at about 9:30, launches commence about 10:30. Field closes about 60 min. before local dusk so we can clean up. Watch the site front page for specifics. Also visit us on FaceBook. You can also check for the FAA NOTAM at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/ and using KCLT (Charlotte) as the location. This will give you the starting and ending times for HP flights.
* If field is available due to crops, etc.
Looked when I walked out that way, didn't see it. Sorry John.
Thanks Doc for the effort. And many thanks to you and the officers for the great work you do to make it an ejoyable time for everyone at the launches.
Already looking forward to March!!!
John
I lost an Altimeter 1 on my first flight during Saturday's Feb 19 launch . The most probable place is in the North Field where most rockets will be recovered during Sunday's launch. It was wrapped in an orange padding. Overall it masures about 2 by 1, so it's small. If anyone finds it please call me on 704-905-0186.
Many thanks,
John Metcalf
