Discussion > Wing Sling

Attending Freedom Launch, a number of people inquired about my rocket storage system that hangs from the side of my tent.
It is a sling system designed to hold/store rc model airplane wings but it has a utility to hold rockets to keep them off of the ground out from under your feet.
Here's the website to view them and to order if you wish to. Some of you handy do it your selfers will find a way to make them.

Happy launches and long boosts to you, blue skies to boot,

I have to give a second to Sandy Houston's thank you to Roy Potter for finding Sandy's rocket on Sunday. Great job Roy.

Also must give Sandy Houston a big thank you for the recent Dual Deploy class a few of us attended. Because of his and other's help, I had two very succesful Dual Deploys at Freedom Launch with my 3" Forte Stretch and my 4" Super DX 3, fondly known as the Purple People Eater. Launched to 2400" and 2900" respectively.

Next up is the 4" fiberglass X-celerator, known as the Tiger Paws for its Clemson colors. Shooting for 3800".

Thanks for the posting John... These are fairly easy to make but at the very reasonable price of $30.00 it'd barely be worth making it unless you already have the web strapping. And it really works great!
