Glad you had such a good launch. Honestly, I was a little worried about the MR-1 since it was pretty small and was going to get way up there, but it flew great and you did get it recovered.
Look forward to flying with you more.
Sandy.
After joining up last month, I ordered my PML MR-1 kit to get me going again in the hobby. 26 years is a long time to be away from a hobby. Yesterday was great fun and I wanted to thank all who helped/advised/retrieved and overall made the day a success. It was great to have Ken there supplying me with the proper motors. Technical assistance from Dave Popkin and overall cool guy. Hacksaw from Sandy saved the day. Ralph and his "succulent" hot dogs(got to expand the menu with Brat's next). John for quality control at the launch pad. Doc for his most excellent taste in music. And the two guys who saved the day, Jason and Roy who went to a lot of trouble getting my rocket down from the top of a 35' tree in one piece, as it took a real beating on its way down to ground level, but came out without a scratch on it. We got back at the launch site in the dark to show Ralph my rocket with his headlights on his car shining on it.
Looks like I've found a cool bunch of people to hang out with. Now on to Level 2.
