ROCC Winter Contest 2005

NAR CONTEST
The next ROCC section meet will be held in conjunction with our next monthly launch on Feb 19 & 20, 2005. The events are; C Eggloft Duration, 1/2 A Boost Glider Duration, 1/2 A Parachute Duration.

Recommended Kits for these events are as follows; For C Eggloft Duration ... Quest Courier however, I strongly recommend that you replace the 18 mm motor mount with a 24 mm motor mount and fly it on C11-5's. For 1/2 A Parachute Duration ... Estes Gnome or Estes FireHawk. You will have to make your own parachute for these as they do not come with parachutes. For Boost Glider ... I still have a limited number of glider kits available to club members for $5.00 each.

I have a short list of web sites where you can find contest kits. They are as follows;

http://www.pratthobbies.com/,
http://cybertravelog.com/qcr/, and
http://www.asp-rocketry.com/index.html.

See you out on the flying field.
