For fun we may throw in a spot landing contest for some kits or motors, no Nar points.

Venders:
Brent Johnson from Hobbytown USA, Mooresville, NC I have not heard from but I expect him to be there one day.

Brent, Let us know your schedule ASAP.

Tim Durbin from Giant Leap will be there, hopefully with more stuff this month.

Note:
Ken will not be there due to some other launches, this is a change cause he did indicate he would come last month, sorry.

The Porta-Jon from A.L. Lowder will be there, come out to support the Porta-Potty, hey last month we actually flew one, no kidding..

John - Go ahead and secure the waivers for both days for this weekend and let me know ASAP.

We need as many people as we can to make our flyer fee goal. Last year we did pretty good, but we could have done better.
We need everyone and their donations so please contribute if you fly. Remember our recommended donation is $8.00-$10.00 per flyer per day, families with lots of young flyers maybe a $10.00 donation would be good. Again, these are recommendations not harden rule yet. The requested weekend land fee from the land owner is $250, so we need everyone to drop a little something in the jar.

Also we have to pay the Porta-Jon fee. That is an extra $74.90 a month. To keep us from going broke we need $325.00 a weekend. That's only about 18-20 flyers a day.

We are kicking off the 2006-2007 flying season so go ahead and renew you memberships if you can. We still have some old T-Shirts and Mark Ferrell has been working on a new logo which he will we will post on the website for folks to comment on, we need to decide quickly so he can start printing shirts..

Anyone needing to certify, please contact me ahead of time. Todd Haring or Terry Baucom can arrange to have the Level 2 NAR test delivered to the field and we can have others administer the test.

Note: I may need to leave early Sunday due to a conflict, so if I can have some volunteers for shut down on Sunday. Also Roy Potter is not going to be there this weekend due to a Pre-Holiday vacation.

Doc - Don't forget the controller, I noticed it was not in the Silo Tuesday

Doc and Brad, don't forget the contest stuff, flight cards, work sheets, stop watches. Let me know If I need to bring something. Bob B is coming back from CA Friday, he will try to make the launch at least one day.

Thanks,
Ralph Roberts
