Dec. 22nd launch report

This report was compiled and written by Louise Ferrell , in training ROCC Sec.

Weather conditions were great on the flight line on Saturday 12/22, despite the forecast for rain and wind!

Serious consideration had been given to canceling the launch. Fortunately "cooler heads prevailed" and we had a launch. I think that those who showed up on Saturday instead of heading to the malls had a terrific time! Many who showed were in the proper Christmas spirit wearing quite stylish "Santa fatigues" Ho Ho Ho!!!

Click the "Read More" link for the rest...

We had 24 actual fliers, and a number of visitors who came to see and talk about stuff. Many participants had already taken off by 3pm so there was not an official ROCC meeting despite campaigning efforts by those running for President "Brad Shea' and for Secretary "Louise Ferrell". Louise was assigned responsibilities by the existing secretary "Roy" to see if she was up to the task.

We actually had 100 recorded flights, which was considerably more than most would have anticipated for the weekend before Christmas. It is good to know that everyone had their priorities in order!
