Man, What a Weekend

Well you could see those tie-dyed t-shirts all across the sod farm and man, did it look GREAT!

There were so many ROCC flyers at Orangeburg this past weekend that you'd have thought it was one of our launches. Fantastic to see all of you folks down there and really pleased to know there were so many "level" attempts going on.

Also great to catch up with so many old friends that we don't see often enough. I think that all that saw it are going to be talking about the Dragon-Flyer for a long time to come.

I'd love to post the photos from down there if we could, so send 'em in if you've got 'em along with a brief description and we'll get 'em up.

Send to: rocketrycarolina@gmail.com THANKS!

DR
A BIG personal thank you from me to Brad, Terry and Todd for helping me with my level 2 attempt. Postmortem on the avionics bay revealed a cheap arming switch that probably broke at the apogee event and killed power to the altimeter. It wasn't powered up for the 2nd event at 800'.

I'll be back though... got new tubing & a new better arming switch on the way for a new bay (old one was beaten up pretty badly on landing) and the altimeter checks fine, so maybe in October? We'll see.
