Upcoming Launch Schedule

ROCC 2024-2025 Launch Schedule:

NO launch in May due to the wheat. We hope to fly in June. 

 

 All launches are at the Midland, NC site unless otherwise stated.*

Here are some other launch opportunities in our area:

ICBM & ROSCO, better known as Rocketry South Carolina, flies near Dalzelle, SC., Just NE of Shaw AFB.  More information can be gotten at their site HERE

The Saturn Rocketry Club in Hendersonville is currently switching their launch field. As soon as we know where they land we will post it. Their FB site is HERE

NC Rocketry flies at Bayboro, NC in the northeast part of the state, information is HERE

 Set-up starts at about 9:30, launches commence about 10:30. Field closes about 60 min. before local dusk so we can clean up. Watch the site front page for specifics. Also visit us on FaceBook. You can also check for the FAA NOTAM at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/ and using KCLT (Charlotte) as the location. This will give you the starting and ending times for HP flights.

A lot of members have asked for this, and now we have it!

After you log in, click on Member Info on the left side of the page. You will notice that we can now contact other members. This is a great addition that both Jean, and Doc have added to the site. We will make sure we have a process in place so this section remains updated. They are still working on it, so it's not the finished product but an outstanding start.

 

Thanks goes out to both Jean and Doc for working on this new section.

For your own sanity Please don't put phone numbers in the public display forum. Email them to Doc or post them in the members private discussion forum.

If you would all look through the list and get me any changes, etc. I will try and clean the listing up in the next week or so. I just got the up-to-date membership list from Roy (Thanks Roy!!) and there are a few email addresses that I need to correct or find their owners. If you see your address with just "name" next to it then drop me a line & let me know.

Also, be mindful of putting emails and phone numbers in the comment section. First, it's available to the public, and second it's viewable by web 'bots looking for email addresses to add to their spam databases!
