All launches are at the Midland, NC site on the 3rd weekend of the month unless otherwise stated.*

Here are some other launch opportunities in our area:

ICBM & ROSCO, better known as Rocketry South Carolina, flies near Dalzelle, SC., Just NE of Shaw AFB on the 2nd weekend of the month.  More information can be had at their site HERE

The Saturn Rocketry Club in Hendersonville is currently switching their launch field. As soon as we know where they land we will post it. Their FB site is HERE

NC Rocketry flies at Bayboro, NC in the northeast part of the state, information is HERE

 Set-up starts at about 9:30, launches commence about 10:30. Field closes about 60 min. before local dusk so we can clean up. Watch the site front page for specifics. Also visit us on FaceBook. You can also check for the FAA NOTAM at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/ and using KCLT (Charlotte Intl.) as the location. This will give you the starting and ending times for HP flights.

Sunday, February 23 Launch - Green Light!

The launch scheduled for Sunday, February 23 is a GO! Set up time will be 9:45am, please come out and help.
* Please make sure you drive along the sides of the driveway/runway, and drive SLOWLY!
* The fields are going to be muddy, so dress appropriately.

Thanks so much to everyone for making my first launch so much fun. The best part ... you have my husband hooked!! YEA
He really had fun on Sunday and actually mentioned he was looking forward to the next launch. The mention of a night launch-campout was the finally set needed for the hook and you had him. :)
It was really nice to come back with all rockets in one piece and very minor touch ups needed on the paint jobs. Thanks Again for all of your help and advice!!
