April 22 & 23 Launch Report
For the April 22 & 23 launch we lost the 23rd to weather, & the 22nd was kind of windy, so we had just 16 flyers & 32 total flights.
If you've got photos and want to have me publish them just send them to: rocketrycarolina (at) gmail (dot) com.
Engine stats: A's 2, B's 9, C's 3, D's 1, E's 6, F's 1, G's 1, H's 8, J's 1
Scott Pennington flew "Old Glory" on an H-125, the "Maxie Magg" on an H-550, a "Nike Ajax" on a D-12, the "Black Star Chaser" on an E-9 and a beautiful "Sea Wolfe" on an H-123.

Elanor Franzen flew "Top Shot" on a C-11 & Eric Franzen flew the "G-Force" on a G-76 & the "Nova" on a B-6.
Peter Nein flew his "Jayhawk" target drone on an F-44 & Alex Nein flew "Chipmunk in a Blender" on an A-3 and his "Illuminati WeeGee on an A-3.
Mylan Green flew his "US Army" 3 times, all on B4-4's, and his really cool "Skull Master" 3 times on E-9-6's.
Duane Dominic flew "Good Luck Chuck" on a C-6 and "Little Blue" on an E-9-6.
Scott Chaney flew "Big Red" on an E-30-4T
Krish Patel flew her "US Air" on a B4-4 & her "Cosmic Explorer" on a B-4-4.
Steve Brown flew the "Madcow Squat" on an H-73 and his "Fat Boy" on a C-11.
Paddy Clancy, who I've been working with to get to L2, has been coming down from from High Point University to fly with us. He flew his "Funny, it worked last time..." on a J-340 for his successful L-2 cert flight. Congratulations Paddy!!
Charlie Ogino flew the "TRFKNAB" on an H-148. He was hampered by leaving various parts of a bunch of rockets behind, so I think this was his cobbled together shot, worked great Charlie!
Ryan Dauer, a 10th grader who wanted to try his Jr. L1, came out and flew his "Blackhawk" on an H-115. Unfortunately he had a seporation at appogee but he'll be back soon better than ever I'm sure.
Doc Russell flew a new 5.25" Loc Precision "A-8" (a longer range V-2 variant) on an H-123 and my "Luna One" on an H-128. I got the A-8 back fine but had to go back the next weekend and find the Luna One at the far end of the North field, in the chest-high oats. Thanks again Ralph for your help!!
It's likely we'll not fly in May, but June & possibly July are looking possible due to crop rotation.
