You can also check for the FAA NOTAM at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/ and using KCLT (Charlotte) as the location. Rain, Rain go away!

Not a fun post to write, but it's probably best to do this.

Since the 11th we've gotten just short of 2" of rain in the USGS gauge down the road from the Midland farm. Wednesday night through Friday morning there's about another inch on the way. That makes about 3" in a week. There's no way that the field is going to be in any shape to support vehicle traffic no matter how gentle we are.

Next week however looks to be mostly dry all week, save a few small showers.
Myself and the other officers are in agreement that the best thing to do is to push off to the 27th & 28th weekend and let the place dry out a bit. Ken would also be able to be with us, (back from MDRS and the snow in MD this weekend).

So we'll see you on the 27th and better weather!
