Charles UNCC, USLI Engineering group, launching from a well built tower, the "Sky Mine" on a K660 that was the first flight sat morning to test survellance of the thrust modulation. (think I got that right, apologies if I flubed it). Unfortunatley the motor Kato'd burning out the side.

Doug Knights prep table, Thats the yellowish "Stinger" that has 13 tube fins around the base. It suprisingly flew straight and true on a F15 then F20.

Doug Knight aquired a fixer-upper that he named "Eat my Grass" that flew on a Cessaroni J530 that succesfully motor deployed 5 different chutes that you will see in later pictures.

That is Dave Strunk doing a daytime test flight of his lighted night flyer, "Tall Boy 54". The fiberglass body was totaly illuminated with multi colors on a I223 with a successful dual deployment at 500ft on it's acual first flight.

What we have here is I think Stuart Samuels "Mega Mosquito" that flew on a D12. And the daytime test flight of Mike Hollowell's "Super Night Mosquito" on a J540R. Later picture will show it lit-up for the night launch.

Larry Becigneul, to whom I apologize for repeatedly messing up his name, flew a Estes Pro Series II kit, the "Ventris" on a F22. The kit looks alot better than how it looks on the box.

Barb Tobin has here a first time attempt at a flying bottle. In this case a "Diet Coke" bottle that flew stable and straight on a C6 with a successful chute deployment and safe recovery.

A couple of shots of Doug Knights "Kiss my Grass" that successfully flew on a J530 that motor ejected 5 seperate chutes. There is a guy at OrangeBurg that had up to (I think) 22 chutes on a line. Maybe Doug can break that number.
