All launches are at the Midland, NC site unless otherwise stated.*

Here are some other launch opportunities in our area:

ICBM & ROSCO, better known as South Carolina Rocketry, flies near Dalzelle, SC., Just NE of Shaw AFB.  More information can be gotten at their site HERE

The Saturn Rocketry Club in Hendersonville is currently switching their launch field. As soon as we know where they land we will post it. Their FB site is HERE

NC Rocketry flies at Bayboro, NC in the northeast part of the state, information is HERE

 Set-up starts at about 9:30, launches commence about 10:30. Field closes about 60 min. before local dusk so we can clean up. Watch the site front page for specifics. Also visit us on FaceBook. You can also check for the FAA NOTAM at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/ and using KCLT (Charlotte) as the location. This will give you the starting and ending times for HP flights.

TARC team fundraising

OK, Here's the thing. Michael Beauchemin and his TCP TARC team built this great rocket. They flew it at the last few launches and had a qualification time of 747' and a time of 42.28 seconds. The time is SO good that they're qualified to move on to the nationals. Problem is, they need MONEY to go. Idea: RAFFLE! They're putting up a week at a beautiful house at Topsail Beach for the meager cost of just a ten-spot each, 5 for $40.

We can�t thank everyone enough for all the advice, guidance and support they have shown our team. It has had a tremendously positive impact on the students involved.

Attached is a link that has additional pictures and information about the house. It is a 4BR/3.5 Bath house. The housing development has a pool, tennis courts and the beach access is across a cull de sac street.

OK, some more details... it's a week between September 6th and December 15th, EXCLUDING the week of November 19 - 23rd (someone's already got it I guess). Drawing to be held May 6th at Family Night.
I'm sure we'll have more info at the launch but if you needed another reason to come out this week end then there it is.

So come out and buy a few tickets. take a chance and GOOD LUCK!!!
