ROCC Update March 15th & 16th (FRIDAY PM)

ROCC Update Friday afternoon...

Taking all of the weird weather prediction changes and Sunday's certain rain into account we're going to push back to the 22nd/23rd of March.

Ralph spoke with Ken and he's available for next weekend, long range weather looks decent and with any luck it'll be less windy.

See you folks next weekend.

Well, we've been struggling with getting the weather figured out. On Wednesday it was going to rain both days, then Wednesday night it looks like it's just going to rain all day Sunday. Saturday looks like it's cloudy, 10 or 15% chance of rain and fairly windy... up around 15mph.

As of right now (Thursday @4pm) we're planning for a Saturday only launch because Ken is available.

HOWEVER... if the burn ban due to the high winds is in effect Friday evening then I don't see how we'd be able to fly on Saturday. I for one don't have "Cause massive blaze by accident" on my bingo card.

I wish I could be more certain but weather is what it is and our season has been spotty at best this year. If we push back then we'll try for the next weekend, the 22nd & 23rd.
