ROCC 2025-2026 Launch Schedule:

June 20 & 21 (if field is available)

All launches are at the Midland, NC site on the 3rd weekend of the month unless otherwise stated.*

Here are some other launch opportunities in our area:

ICBM & ROSCO, better known as Rocketry South Carolina, flies near Dalzelle, SC., Just NE of Shaw AFB on the 2nd weekend of the month.  More information can be had at their site HERE

The Saturn Rocketry Club in Hendersonville is currently switching their launch field. As soon as we know where they land we will post it. Their FB site is HERE

NC Rocketry flies at Bayboro, NC in the northeast part of the state, information is HERE

 Set-up starts at about 9:30, launches commence about 10:30. Field closes about 60 min. before local dusk so we can clean up. Watch the site front page for specifics. Also visit us on FaceBook. You can also check for the FAA NOTAM at https://notams.aim.faa.gov/notamSearch/nsapp.html#/ and using KCLT (Charlotte Intl.) as the location. This will give you the starting and ending times for HP flights.

Freedom Flight has been Cancelled

From the WWW.TRIPOLISC.ORG website: Freedom Launch Cancelation Folks, This has been a most difficult decision for your leadership to make. We realize the current predicted path of Frances takes it below South Carolina. Florida will take the brunt of the storm and it is predicted at this point to go into Alabama and western Georgia. However, keep in mind this is a very large storm and it reaches far beyond the path of its eye.

Freedom Launch Weekend

Ralph sends this message: From Tripoli South Carolina's website. Break out the sunscreen, pack the rockets (and kids) and head to beautiful Orangeburg, South Carolina and fly on one of the best fields on the East Coast. This three day event is sponsored by ICBM (TRA) and ROSCO (NAR). September 4th and 5th are Sport Launch days followed by a Tripoli Rocketry Association Experimental Launch on September 6th. Range will open at 10am each day with a 10,000 ft. waiver.
